Critique Style Requested: Standard
The photographer is looking for generalized feedback about the aesthetic and technical qualities of their image.
Just off the parking lot, on a local beach, we found this group of Terns, Oystercatchers, and I believe the nesting bird is a Gull.

Hi Peter, a nice collection of images that puts me at the beach with you. I like the selective critical focus in the first image being on the front bird on the right with the supporting cast more blurred. Puts my attention on the most complete member there. Nice details. The oystercatcher is an interesting shot too with a nice pose. I think you could crop some from the bottom and include more on top. The other images also highlight a fun and productive day at the beach.
Excellent images, Peter, and they go together well to tell the story of that beach. Nicely put together.

Here is a repost of the Oystercatcher, with a little off the bottom.
Yup! That little kink toward the end of the beak is pure gull. I can’t think of any other group that has it.
