Critique Style Requested: Standard

The photographer is looking for generalized feedback about the aesthetic and technical qualities of their image.

Description

Captured on a recent trip to Trinidad. This is on the North Coast of the island. It was a heavy overcast day with misty mountains in the background. The beach was empty except for a few stray dogs. My wife was swimming in the calm waters, while I was wetting my toes. Its the kind of day you read about in novels.

Specific Feedback

Any feedback is welcomed. Would you consider changing to B/W?

Technical Details

Image was captured with the Nikon Z7 11 and 24-120 mm f4 lens. Shutter speed was 1/160 sec, f11, ISO-125 and shot at 96mm.

Lovely restful image as you say on the perfect overcast day. I especially like your handling of the blues. The fog creates a nice mood too. The white wave leads the eye into the image nicely. Delightful. One suggestion is to clone out the dark spot in the LLC.
