This guy flew up and landed at the end our our hike, and allowed me to go home and get my camera in come back to shoot it. It was still there. Lucky day.

Nice sharp look at the hawk, Dave. I’d be tempted to remove the OOF branches around the hawk. The in-focus branches lend a nice sense of place. Very courteous of the hawk to wait for you.

A pretty steep angle, Dave, but that is how we often see them. It would probably be a more useful ID image than most of the elegant ones!
