Very cool, David. I like the perch with all that lichen. The Towhee looks just a bit oversharpened and something it going on with the tip of the tail. If you used one of the automatic selection tools, they often screw up areas like that. Nice job.
Another nice catch – for you both – and a nice perch and your signature lovely BG! @Dennis_Plank pegged two issues, and the end of the perch has a cutout look. Sometimes that is just the way it was, but it may be a hint some software letting you down.
It would be nice to lower saturation or increase lightness in the UL corner. Or just a bit of a crop from the top could do it.
Yeah, I agree with your comments. Sometimes I find it really difficult on the smaller screen which I’m working on, to see things. I do have a big monitor, but it’s in a room that’s pretty cold and not heated so I’m stuck 14 inch monitor. Thank you so much.
I (and any of us here) would be similarly challenged in that case. I’ll try to remember that, and please accept my apologies and a big hug for what you’re going through!
Cool image of this youngster and the earwig in its beak. Nice look at the eye, and as Diane said, nice BG.
