Found these large mums at the store yesterday and thought they would be a great backdrop for my blue jay feather. All comments welcome.>=))>

Stunning contrast in colors and patterns, Bill!! Beautiful.

The yellow and blue really work well together, Bill, and I really like the contrast in texture and form between the two. Beautiful image.

Are you sure this shouldn’t be in Avian? The contrast in colors and in textures is spectacular. The entire image jumps off the page. I’d try burning-in the bright triangle in the lower right, but am not sure that I’d keep the result. A great “find”, very well executed.

A perfect meld of color and texture, Bill. Kudos, for sure!

Love the composition and colors here. the curve of the feather mirrors the curling flower petals wonderfully. Blue and yellow are always a winner for me. II don’t have much to suggest. Maybe it’s worth seeing whether you can work on the upper right corner to keep the feather wisps in the frame? It’s not a major issue, but if it’s possible to keep them in the frame, that would keep the eyes where I assume you want them.
