I have to admit, when I first saw this my immediate reaction was a bi-plane. I had lunch with a coworker last weekend that use to have a Stearman Bi-Plane. Although he sold the unit awhile back he still has his pilots license covering up to and including multi-engine stuff.
As a side note: He was on Singapore Airline 006 that crashed on the runway back in 2000. The story he told from his perspective having a broken back, broken nose, and broken hip from the incident was truly freighting.
Love seeing these wings shown so brilliantly Bill. Really shows off this species quite well. Glad to see the noise problem solved too. We even get to see the patterns on the abdomen. Well done.
