Happy New Year to everyone at NPN in general and to all the Flora folk in particular. I’m especially grateful for Kristen Smith who stepped up and took on the moderator duties last year and did a great job covering for me as work and ministry duties kept me away from the gallery for extended periods. I’m hoping to do better this year and in that spirit I’ll offer this hibiscus that I shot this morning. There is the promise of cold weather headed our way tomorrow but we have had an exceptionally mild fall and we have some late bloomers in our garden that are still providing a splash of color.
