Nice perch and pose, Dave. the background works for me. You might trim some off the bottom and see if you like it that way. The cheek and catchlight look a touch soft which makes me wonder if it was moving it’s head when you shot this.

HI Dave, beautiful bird, well captured. Colors on the bird look good and I also am fine with the background. Fine composition. I also notice just the slight blur on the neck.
