Description

I captured this male lesser goldfinch “rousing” in the early morning sun recently. These are tiny birds but this guy is looking big.

A cool shot of the fluffed-out Goldfinch, Dave. On my monitor, the back of the neck is looking like it’s blown out with no detail left. You could try recovering it in your raw processor. I like the perch and background in this one.

Hi Dave, cool shot with a nice pose. Details on bird and perch look soft like a bit too much noise reduction was run. Agree about the blown out feathers. Pleasing background.

I like the light highlighting the fluffed up feathers, Dave. Maybe a bit sharper head. Nice background.

Hi Dave
Looks like the Goldfinch just got out of the shower, very nice photograph.
