Nice pose and good color, Dave. The horizontal branch doesn’t bother me particularly. There’s quite a bit of noise in this one. Modern noise reduction should take care of it at that iso.

Good look at the goldfinch, Dave, and the background colors work well to complement the bird. I’d keep the branch. Agree with Dennis about the noise.

Nice pose and I like the coloring of this bird. We don’t have these in my area. I’m fine with the horizontal branch and like the overall setting. Agree on the noise reduction.
