An excellent shot of these mountain birds in their environment. The separation of black birds from the stunning backdrop is great. A tiny personal point: I’d add a catchlight to the eye of the bird on the left , to enhance the title.
A sweet image, Chris. We don’t see many of these posted and they’re a very cool bird. I like the way you handled the blacks. I’m tempted to suggest cropping above the lower rail, but then you’d lose the middle ground and that helps add a lot of depth to the image.
Well seen, and I’m glad you got the mountaintops in the frame.
I think a crop from the bottom is the way to go. Not only would it remove the second railing (and distracting light grass), but it drops the ravens into the lower third of the frame, which I think will bring better balance to the scene.
