Raven Calling

Critique Style Requested: Standard

The photographer is looking for generalized feedback about the aesthetic and technical qualities of their image.

Description

I recently heard a couple of ravens calling nearby out back. I eased out there in time to get this shot of one of the pair before they left. I see them fly by but rarely see them landed, and up kinda close. Got lucky.

Great pose, Dave. The blacks look good in the plumage and I love the setting. There are a couple of bright out of focus elements in the background that a re just a bit distracting, but not bad at all.

I really like the calling pose Dave, the BG leaves are really nice. Good detail in the blacks too.
