Is this a composite: No
D810, 200-500 @ 200mm, f/8, 1/2500 (was shooting a kingfisher moments earlier - well trying to), ISO 250

ACR for basics, TK8 Multi-mask for color grading, back to ACR for tonal grading, and a bit of a clarity bump.

I love the estuary, horizon and sky, but the foreground brush is throwing me off. Just for yuks, I brought it into PS and cropped out the foreground and the result works for me.

I love the graphic horizontality of this image. I agree with Harley … but not entirely. I would try cropping half of the brush from the bottom. Right now I think it is too dominant and not interesting enough to be so. But essentially, you have layers of light and texture and I think a smaller layer of brush could contribute.

Thanks @Harley_Goldman , @Kerry_Gordon . I liked it both ways suggested but I think Kerry’s suggestion works best for me.

Interesting image! With the crop from the bottom, I’m wondering about also taking a little off the top, for balance. Just a little.

Agreed, I like how the 16x9 accentuates the the divisions here and the horizon!
