John Wayne, the mix of pastel red and green in the bud and the leaves around it work well together. I do think that a vertical shot showing a bit more of the stem would take advantage of the vertical structure of the bud and those two young leaves.

John Wayne, I think taking Mark’s advice improved this, as I do like the second post better than the first. I love the colors.
