David, this is very nice. Great pose with the feet visible, really cool branch, fine detail, bright eye and very appealing BG. My only possible suggestion for this excellent image is to remove the bright catchlight, as there is already a nice reflection in the eye.

Hi David, really fine catch of this male. Nice details, interesting perch and pleasing BG. I also noticed the small single catchlight - think it could go. Very nice capture.

A wonderful comp and the prudent use of flash brought out additional details in the downy. The catch light is not a deal breaker, but you could remove if so desired. Perch and soft BG add a lot to this strong comp…Jim
