I took a series of bracketed shots of this scene with thoughts of doing some HDR work. However I didn’t really like what the merge did to the water so I took the middle image and teased out the shadow detail and enriched the sky/clouds in LR. All comments on the processing most welcome.

Very nicely done, Bill. The enlarged image really brings out the detail in those oceans waves and the stones they’re pounding into. That line of waves do very well at bringing your eye right up the middle to that beautiful lighted cloud. Wonderful!
Lovely – that’s such a dramatic coastline! Kudos for including the rocks at the base of the cliff – they ground the scene so well and add wonderful perspective!
