Michael, I see a beautiful, colorful . just enough misty image . My comment is that I should take away the water white part below and just leave a very small part of the very white fog. To me the image is then more in balance .
Real nice color and trunk lines, but I would agree with @Ben_van_der_Sande 's suggestion on the crop. I would like to either see a lot more lake or none.

With these types of shots I often struggle with how much water to include, knowing that the fall color is supposed to be the star of the show. My initial reaction was that you had a good ratio of land to water here, but after seeing @Ben_van_der_Sande comment, I like his suggestion to crop a slice from the bottom. I think it places more emphasis on the mist, which for me adds more mood to the image. but overall, it’s pretty nicely done.
