Misty Tantalus Creek

Critique Style Requested: Standard

The photographer is looking for generalized feedback about the aesthetic and technical qualities of their image.

Description

On a cold fall morning, there was lots of mist rising from the hot waters of Tantalus Creek as it flows through the Norris Geyser Basin in Yellowstone. Where the water has cooled to warm moss and grass grow in abundance, which contrast strongly with the barren grounds where the water is hot.

Sweet. I love the contrast between the warm patch in the Fg with the rest of the cooler image.

Mark,
I am liking the ethereal mood with the BG mist contrasting with the warm and cool tones in the rest of the scene. The small stream of water does an excellent job of directing the eye into the rest of image. No suggestions from me.
