Here we have Hoback in the Grand Tetons last Fall trying to mate with this female who has just stepped out of the water. This glance only lasted a few seconds and she moved on with her calf. He was trying hard. See my other image for a close up view of Hoback as he continued to try to win her over.

I like the extra blue water at the top of the frame as it contrasts well with the Fall grasses they are both in. Also let’s the viewer know the environment in and around the animals.
