Green Herons continue to congregate at the local state park pond. I managed to get these flight shots this morning.

The first and second are nice flight shots, Allen, but the landing shot is the clear winner here (and anywhere else it’s shown). You caught a great moment there with a perfect landing position on the part of the heron and a great perch-to-be.

This one is nice, but no where near the impact of that third one.

All are fantastic!! I love this last one – the outstretched wing is a wonderful gesture! But don’t make me pick a favorite of any of the four!
