Image Description

This from another from a sunny morning in the dunes along Lake Michigan, but this with a pair of thin roots that had been blown by the wind across the sand, leaving lovely spots for their shadows to show up. The two “dimples” are the remains of insect tunnels.

any and all. Like many subjects the color of sand can vary widely; I try to set it at what I remember it being, in this case with more warmth than “auto” suggests.

John: This one does not grab my attention and interest like the first. There just isn’t enough stuff to attract my eye. The texture in the sand is very nicely rendered but I think you need more subject matter. >=))>
