I made a few footprints go away but otherwise this was as seen. Going to the dunes in the off season was one of my best photographic experiences.

Sand dunes with a low angle of sunlight hitting them are a classic subject for this week’s challenge. You have certainly captured this image so well, with the bright sunlit side contrasting nicely with the shadowed side. Well done Bill.

Bill, your title says it all. The edges look sharp enough to cut. The sunlit portions are angled well through the frame. Have you tried removing some blue from the shadows? The camera picks up sky reflections that our eyes/brain make disappear.

I love this, Bill. The light is just gorgeous, and you timed the exposure perfectly. The composition is also very nice.

The processing is beautiful, and I like the cool blues as a counterpoint to the warm yellows.

Works for me! :+1:

Excellent composition, and sharp edges indeed! The repeating lines of the edges are a great feature. I could see an alternate version with a small slice off the bottom to remove the bit of flare of the lighted area, or even a larger crop to remove the area of a soft edge.
