This couple of Anas penelope were rummaging near the sea wall. I like to attempt shots which show more than one bird, especially a male and female together. As it was a freezing day, they let me get to within 50 feet.
Specific Feedback Requested
This was my closest attempt at getting both birds in focus, before my hands started to freeze up. I applied selective sharpening to both birds. The male in particular had colours blending with its surroundings which can be a pain when selecting! Wigeon tend to have indented eyes, so I brightened these areas a bit with Viveza. All comments welcome.
