this appears to have been taken sometime in 2006. I don’t even remember taking this image very well but I do remember the light. I have no idea how this will turn out but I’m going to give my best in processing

Excellent job on the nuthatch, David. The perch running almost perpendicular to the focal plane makes it a bit distracting, but the bird is great.
P.S. If this was taken with the A7Riv, it has to be much more recent than 20o6. The A7Riv didn’t come out until July of 2019.
I like the light and the detail, David. Nicely posed and the perch is interesting and has some complementary colors.
I like this a lot. These nervous little guys are hard to get to hold still for a pose! Nice side lighting. I would look at removing a a bit of the left edge. Thanks for sharing.
