Guy, this has a nice peaceful vibe to it. I really like the subtle lighting, colors, textures in the grasses, and the old trees. The misty BG really softens the overal image nicely. Peaceful and tranquil morning. I would like to see the rest of the tree on the left side of this image, and that might off center the brightest lighting and help push the balance a bit more to the right.
Hi Ed, Thanks so much for your kind thoughtful words on this. I know what you are looking for with the left side tree but it is very difficult to get clean separation as there is a clutter of less attractive trees to the left of the current framing that really detracts from the right side. I often move to the left and closer to use just the right hand grouping but that cuts the tops even with the 24mm, something I didn’t want to do for this version.
