On the Lookout

Critique Style Requested: Standard

The photographer is looking for generalized feedback about the aesthetic and technical qualities of their image.

Description

I find myself spending more and more time at Lowe’s Water Gardens for the water lilies and dragonflies. Spotted this blue dasher repeatedly returning to this perch overlooking a pond. Hope he was hunting skeeters.>=))>

Specific Feedback

Cropped from a vertical frame that had more of the leaf but I wanted to emphasize the wing detail with this tighter view.

NO Words Bill !!! Image speaks for its self. You nailed it !!!

Bill, I don’t think it gets any better than this. Really exquisite! Exceptional detail throughout and lovely colours and BG.
One tiny nit - a few spots are going vertical above your “SDG” - easily smoothed.
Maybe no one else sees them -
Caveat: my monitor has been indicating “calibrate” for a week, and I’ve ignored it.

What a beautiful shot, Bill. Stunning. I need to check out our Botanical Gardens and see if the Dragonflies or anything else interesting is there.

This is just plain gorgeous, Bill. Beautifully focused throughout and that leaf makes a perfect perch for the dragonfly.
