This is not your usual fare, but I like this intimate landscape Ben. The light is particularly nice and I like where you placed the lower part of the tree trunk and root as it has created this lovely graceful curve into the frame from the URC. My only suggestion would be to tone down that one bright leaf just a little bit. Nicely done!
I almost forgot; I love the haiku.
ED @Ed_Lowe I look at older images and luckily I find some hidden gems like this one .I still learn to look better. Because of your remark on that bright leaf. I am also glad you can appreciate my Haikus !
