Description

Harsh Sunlight but had to try. Out walking on Jekyll Is. and spotted this guy looking and finding lunch. So I ran off quite a few shots to capture his lunch time.

Specific Feedback

I decided to go B&W and keep it raw and kinda harsh. To me it has ILFORD film kinda vibe. Thats kinda what i was going for. Don’t make it pretty. Hot Harsh conditions.

Hi Gill, the treatment here makes this a type of avant-garde type of bird image breaking from the norms mainly due to lighting and place. I can appreciate the black and white treatment giving the stark mood and contrast. This creates an interesting image to me playing on those factors. I could see straightening done in this image.
