Critique Style Requested: Standard

The photographer is looking for generalized feedback about the aesthetic and technical qualities of their image.

Description

At Jekyll Is. and saw this guy walking and so I shot a few frames. YES. The sun was harsh but i was there and I had to try to capture an image. Put in B&W and there s when I saw it. A shadow and reflection. Kinda cool.

Specific Feedback

All Comments welcomed. Im thinking of re edit on this image. So I will be reading any comments that the NPN have to offer. In B&W I think it has that raw natural look …
Harsh sun and dirt and water. Hard image to capture but i gave it a try…

Gil: B&W makes this exceptionally intriguing. I was wondering how the bird had two shadows. In color the reflection would be obvious but here you’ve introduce some real head scratching mystery. Well seen, conceived and presented. >=))>

I think one is a shadow and the other a reflection. I hope to re edit this one. Any suggestions. It’s an unusual image and I want to make it stronger. Thanks.

Shifting to Avian critiques, as it belongs there.

Hi Gill, interesting image with the reflection and shadow. Definitely makes one do a double take which is good. I like the stark look in this context (and lighting) as well as the striding pose of the bird. I think some straightening may be in order.

Thanks. In all honest it is straight. He was walking and this is how i shot it. The enviornment there is pretty broken and just harsh. Thanks for showing interest in my images. I am new at this style of photography.
