Nice one. I like the pose and cormorant really stands out against the water bg. Interesting looking perch. Looks good.

Very good, Allen. I like the pose a lot and the rock it’s on with the ocean backdrop provides a fine sense of habitat.

I’ve never seen this bird before. Are they common? That black eye is something else. I like the rocky perch and the BG. Comp. looks good. No nits from me.

I’m also enjoying the pose quite a bit here. The setting is wonderful. I’ve seen these in the coast in the Westport area of Washington but they have never been as cooperative as of this.

Hi Lyle, thanks for your comment. They’re found along the pacific coast, usually on the rocks. You guys get to see the Great Cormorant.
