What technical feedback would you like if any?

This is a flycatcher and looking for a victim. Nests nearby and comes out every 20- 30 about a minutes and catches bugs . My challenge is to get him in flight.

What artistic feedback would you like if any?

Great pose and background, Charlie. It looks as if the light were very harsh for this one. If this bird works all day, you might want to try earlier or later. If it uses the same perch regularly you stand a pretty good chance of getting a take-off or landing shot.

Nice pose and detail. But harsh light will frequently affect the image adversely. I agree with Dennis and he gave you good advice. If you are trying for an inflight shot, you will need a minimum 2500th or faster shutter speed. These flycatchers are fast .

Thanks. I will work on softer light and see what I can do.
