Point of Light

One of our neighbors is moving and gave Chrissy a small cactus grouping. I noticed this tiny spot of light on the point of a mini-agave plant with some small barrel cacti in the BG. Perhaps not everyone’s cup of tea but I still thought it worthy of a shot. All comments welcome. >=))>

The light is pretty sweet, but the bg overwhelms.

Bill, that light right on the point is nice, drawing the eye right to it. For me, I like how the cactus are recognizable in the BG.

Bill, my first thought is OUCH! both from the needle point of the leaf and the cacti in the back. The colors in the leaf are very dramatic…some soft sun on the entire leaf with the shaded cacti behind could be great.

Bill photography is about shapes and you did a fantastic job with this one. The viewer looks at the lovey color on the left and is drawned to the sharp point. The soft background gives a great idea of the environment. Awesome photo
