Description
Chrissy’s little cactus garden is burgeoning with some nice rain lately and some hot sun. Thought this little extract was pretty interesting and typical of its good health and happiness.
Specific Feedback
Felt lazy and didn’t do a stack but I’m pretty happy with this single capture.

What a pleasing look at this great collection. You maybe had a lot of choices to make for composition, but I love this one! As for stacking, nah! I just wonder if you were even too lazy to use a tripod. Clone out those two short thin brown stems at the bottom?
Mike: LOL. Not quite that slothful yet or trusting enough of the image stabilization to hand hold at .5 sec. I missed those twigs. Will probably make them go away.>=))>
Very “cactiferous” Lighting and comp are incredible. Single capture worked very well here. My guess is you will carefully tweezer out the sticks and re-shoot this one. Still awesome as presented for both versions…Jim
Wow – simply wonderful!! In addition to the above points, you managed to fit a square into a rectangle!! Yes, this is worth shooting again with more room on the sides if there are not distractions, and cropping to square. Marvelous in any case!!
I envy you your cactus garden. We tried one here in Oregon, and actually had some success despite everyone else saying it was impossible.
Still, most of my cactus are in the window garden and are not happy enough to bloom much.
Excellent look at this little group.
This is amazing. The overall organization and proportions are spot on. Amazing details and design in these plants. Nothing random here. Everything precise and purposeful. Removing some of the big spines was a good idea as it feels more harmonious without them.
