Preston: Good thing my wife wasn’t with you because she might have snatched up the cones before you could shoot them. She makes vases filled with acorns and cones and these would definitely have caught her attention. Neat little scene that for me conveys a peaceful feeling. Nicely done. >=))>

I really like the composition you managed in this image, Preston. The arrangement of the cones is very good in my opinion. A bit more snow might have been nice, but I don’t think you had control over that one.

This is a nicely inviting winter scene, Preston, with its mix of warm tones and snow. You’ve filled the frame well with the cones. The needles and grasses are a good addition.

Hi Preston,
I am liking this intimate landscape quite a bit. The subdued warm tones of the pine cones along with the needles work beautifully with the pure whites of the snow. This has a clean refreshing mood that I find to be very inviting. Very nicely done IMO.
