The photographer is looking for generalized feedback about the aesthetic and technical qualities of their image.
Description
Of course full bloom water lilies are wonderful subjects but sometimes even the buds have some allure. Couldn’t decide on the portrait or landscape orientation although I do have a slight preference for the landscape. >=))>
Specific Feedback
Removed a very few bright spots but chose not to remove some of the stuff bordering the edge of the upper pad. Your thoughts?

Definitely the landscape for me, Bill. Because I like the geometry of that upcurled large leaf edge leading my eye around and up to the curved left side of the bud. For this reason I’d be tempted to crop 5-10% off the right edge, not that the bubbles under the right leaf bother me at all. The portrait version has a bit too much leafage to my eye.
Bill, I too vote for the landscape view. Feeling quite irreverent…, it feels like the lilies are sticking their tongue out at me, which is good fun or that bud is about to run off to the right, leaving only the leaves behind. The curled up edge of the front leaf is a neat extra.
This is one where I’d be tempted to go with a tight crop, Bill. I like the curled edge of the leaf on the left and the real star is the bud with such wonderful detail that I want it really large in the frame. To me, those two elements are the image and anything else is irrelevant. Perhaps something like this:
Hi, from your two, I prefer the landscape, but definitely Dennis crop is very good. The balance of light is perfect and I love the reflection in your image. Well done.
