Image Description

This network of roots caught my eye while walking through some trees in the Canadian Rockies. Much of these roots are exposed due to erosion of the land in this small area, which gives you an idea of how extensive the root system is.

Me too @Bill_Fach. I avoid walking over surfaces like that.

Ted, the network of roots is very attractive with it’s mix of brown tones. I think you’ve got the possibility for an outstanding semi-abstract using the lower left ~1/4 of the frame (some trunks, lots of roots and sand plus the rocks at the bottom of the frame.
