Raccoon Stare Down

Critique Style Requested: Standard

The photographer is looking for generalized feedback about the aesthetic and technical qualities of their image.

Description

This raccoon mother was hunting crayfish at our local park waterway. She caught and ate three while we watched her for ten-fifteen minutes. She had sent her three kits into the den first before she went off on her hunt.

Specific Feedback

Your comments and recommendations are appreciated.

Technical Details

I cloned out a small rock, a couple of bright red leaves, and a strand of grass under the raccoon’s tail.

Nice catch! Tack-sharp head and fur, charming eyes, , good comp, and a bit of reflection. No nits from me -
Raccoons look so sweet, but they turn inro terrors when angry.
