Back in the mountains this morning. The number of birds was pretty high as this is about the time for migration numbers to go up for our region.
This nuthatch gave me a nice pose for a couple of seconds to capture this image.

Nice details and I especially the head turn of the nuthatch. The BG has some features, but everything is softened so it does not take anything away from the subject. Awesome as usual…Jim

The Nuthatch has a nice head turn and eye kick. The background has a nice soft feel to it, highlighting the coloring and detail of this Red Breasted Nuthatch.
