David: Color overload!!. What a great looking critter against a great BG. Did you have to crop this much? If you were using a 100mm lens you must have been pretty close. However you got here, well done. >=))>

Thanks for your comments on my image. Yeah, I had to get in there pretty close with a 105 macro. I have a few more coming up that I’ve been working on that. We’re taking the same day. It was sure fun, taking pictures of poisonous frogs. Nice and colorful, the way I like it sometimes. This is a full frame. No cropping here.

David – I can’t stop looking at this alien creature. This angle enhances the frog’s strangeness. My eye was pulled to upper left by the bright area, FYI.

David, great shot of a fabulous creature. My only suggestion would be to smooth out the amazing eye, as it looks like processing might have injured it a bit. Well done.

What’s not to like. Everything in Costa Rica is big and bold and colourful. I might desaturate the orange just a smidge on the feet. Bravo.

Wow, he posed really well for you even though you were pretty close to him. He is really colorful. Great shot!
