The Laguna de Lagarta Lodge in Costa Rica has a large covered dining and social area with feeders and nesting areas around it. This species didn’t seem to come to the feeders, but they appeared o be very interested in the hollow top of this cut-off palm. They would be there first thing in the morning and last thing in the evening. This image was taken in the evening of our first day at the lodge.
