The photographer is looking for generalized feedback about the aesthetic and technical qualities of their image.

Description

Visited a local park yesterday and found Red-winged Blackbirds singing among the reeds.

Specific Feedback

Obviously a busy shot and I’m hoping the contrast and pose of the bird carries the impact. Any thoughts on that?
I used the Photoshop Remove tool to take out some reeds coming from the top of the bird’s head.

Processed in DXO Pure Raw 3 and Photoshop.

Just looking at this on a tablet, Allen, but I love it. The blacks are extremely rich while maintaining beautiful detail and I really like the pale, almost ethereal reeds.

Excellent pose and wonderful detail in the bird. The high-key BG works to help simplify it – focus is definitely on the bird.
