What technical feedback would you like if any?
Trying to get better sharpness. Think this better than the wigeons… Maybe a bigger target.
What artistic feedback would you like if any?
Any pertinent technical details:
Canon 7D markll, Sigma 150-600C, ISO 800, 1/500/ f/16, 600mm, on a tripod. Lr and PSCC cropped to about 50%

You have excellent detail in this image, Charlie, so I think the previous post just had the focus off for some reason. It happens to me all the time. A very nice head turn and great eye on this image. There is quite a bit of noise in the water, so you might run some noise reduction on it. I use Topaz Remask to select the bird and put it on a separate layer, then I can do noise reduction on the background layer without affecting the bird. Photoshop has decent tools available to make the selection as well, so it’s just a preference thing.
Pretty eye and nice pose on the duck. I agree with the noise reduction on the water. I use Imagenomic Noiseware to de-noise my backgrounds.
Not familiar with that one but , obviously LR is not enough. Thanks
Very nice lighting Charlie, I agree with the noise reduction suggestion, it also needs some clockwise rotation.
