Excellent image! Two thumbs up!! Two impressions worth noting.

First, the background was kept dark - as opposed to lightening it up using Lightroom’s shadow slider, etc. It adds mystery to the composition.

Secondly, the image was not cropped too tight. It provides breathing room around the main subject. [I personally don’t care for images that are so cropped it makes me feel like I’m looking at the subject through a telescope.]

Cheers,

A very good reflection image, Balan. I like the white feather debris on the water, but might consider cleaning up the orange/brown debris to keep the image more strictly black and white with the exception of the bill.

Beautifully seen and executed Balan. Wonderful symmetry with the reflection and I can easily imagine him surrounded by stars. I do like the overall composition too; close enough to appreciate the egret with enough room all around to show off the setting.

Beautiful image, as already said by others, full of mystery and - at least for - temporal suspension. The dark background works very well. Maybe, maybe I would slightly crop it, not much - no telescope effect, but just balance of negative space…

Nice. Nice. Nice. the picture makes me think of a Moebius ring. You can keep walking on those and never reach an endpoint. Beautiful.
