Chrissy was out in the yard a couple days ago and found this orb weaver working feverishly on its web. I used my 100mm macro so I could hand hold and focus quicker than I can with the 200mm lens. The web was moving a little in a slight breeze but I got a couple keepers. I liked the BG best on this one. All comments welcome. This is full frame, no cropping. >=))>

A great look at this guy, Bill. Glad Chrissy spotted him. Everything looks sharp where it needs to be. In a case like this one, I really like using the high speed shutter (I also use the back button focus), and when I shoot a burst of shots, I can usually come out with a few keepers. You did fine with whatever method you used. Nice oof BG to support the subject.

Great catch Bill. I really like the soft and range of colors of in the OOF background. Also the detail in the web and of course, the spider. Nicely done.

Wow Bill, that is just amazing. I love the background and you did awesome on the comp.
