Hi Timothy, Wow what a river of green. I like it very much. Well seen. I might consider cropping from the bottom to get rid of the stray twigs in the foreground. I think it makes it an even stronger image. It is an interesting image. Nice use of the river of grass as a leading line into the image. Well done.
I like the soft colors in this one, Timothy. I also like how the light green river grass leads your eye into the forest of trees. I do agree with @David_Bostock David and @Matt_Payne that a crop at the bottom above the grey/white grass on the left would work well.
The stuff at the bottom of the frame isn’t helping you at all here. With a crop like others have suggested this would work perfectly. 5:4 should take care of that.
That “river of grass” or greens… is wonderful. Having that sea of grass framed up top by the pines and what look like dormant winter bushes - is working beautifully. what a great find and great eye to see and capture this.
I’m repeating, but agree with the others that the gray twigs at the bottom are a distraction. Often something that can’t be avoided in the field, but with a combo of a slight crop (also removing the dark patch LR) and some CA cloning, you’ve got a real beauty.
