Wonderful detail in this Robber Fly, Allen, with really nice background.
A excellent image of this little critter, Allen. No nits here. That neighborhood lake of yours is a real treasure trove.
Allen: A fearsome looking critter. Glad they’re no bigger than they are! Really good effort HH with everything that matters sharp. >=))>
The sharpness of the head, front legs and thorax look very good, Allen. It stands out well from the background.
Hi Allen,
This is a good composition, but I’d like to see the tip of the abdomen just as sharp as the head. Go with at least f16 for these guys. The light spot of the abdomen tends to pull my eye in that direction and having those hairs nice and sharp will actually make them appear less obvious to the eye. Other than that–Well done…Jim
