The composition looks fine, Dave, and I love the pose of the robin with the berry in its beak. You might want to go back to the raw file and work on the highlights. There’s a completely blown white patch on the throat and I think you could bring out more texture in the plumage on the cheek. A fine shot of this activity and the background is very nice.

There’s a lot of energy in this shot and it stands out more effectively than a static pose. Dennis brings up a good point about the possibility of recovering some detail in the highlights. Maybe starting with a linear profile would help by flattening the curve that many RAW editors automatically put on images. Never hurts to try.

Really nice feeding behavior you captured Dave. Love seeing the tongue with that berry. Agree with trying to tone down the highlights.
