Lucky you to be inundated with Robins!
The bird and the perch are very photogenic! I’m not familiar with the bird so not able to comment on the colouring of bird or perch, but they sure make for a pleasing image. You’ve captured a wonderful pose with lovely light. The background is very pleasing. I like the bird being slightly off centre, but maybe would have preferred more room on the right for him to fly into.
There’s a brighter green moss/something on the top of the perch on the LHS that draws my attention and wonder if there is a version with a slice cropped off there. I realise though that that would place the bird more central.
Only ponderings Dave.
I like the robin and the Manzanita makes a great perch, Dave. The branch does seem to be going out of focus at either end and it’s creating some strange edge effects, so you might consider a vertical crop.
Nice pose and detail in the Robin, Dave, and the manzanita perch adds to the image with its texture and complementary color. I like the right side background, though the blue on the left tends to draw my eye. If there’s more on the right I could see a crop from the left.
Nice image Dave. Terrific pose and a pleasing background. Could see a crop from the left. Details seem a bit muted I’m wondering if from noise reduction.
