Ruby-throated hummingbird

Critique Style Requested: Standard

The photographer is looking for generalized feedback about the aesthetic and technical qualities of their image.

Description

I had some time yesterday evening to photograph at my hummingbird set up using scarlet honeysuckle. The last two images are of a hummingbird that suffered an earlier injury I assume from a fight with another hummingbird. Glad he is still feeding and will hopefully be fully recovered by the time for migration.

Allen, a wonderful collection of Hummingbird images here. No thoughts for change at all, just enjoying the images overall. I will say about the injured bird, yes, they’re truly fierce competitors that I witness daily at my feeders… :+1:

Excellent series of hummingbird images, Allen. The lighting is excellent and they seem to come at that sprig of honeysuckle blossoms from beautiful angles.

Fantastic, all!! The setup is perfect! No nits!
