Two cranes have been visiting a neighboring town both last year and this year. Yesterday they were in a hay field with their two half grown babies.

Beautiful! Love the soft looking grasses surrounding the crane. The colors compliment each other well!

This came out quite well, Patricia. I like the fairly large depth of field that gives the grass so much texture. The pose is excellent.

I love the sparse and painterly look here. Evocative of Andrew Wyeth. Well done!

Very nice look at the crane. I like the setting: the browns in the grass go well with the crane and some of the foreground grass seems to parallel the body of the crane. A very pleasing image.

Excellent look at the habitat and bird. Cranes are impressive. This is a wonderful environmental and behavioral shot.

Hi Patricia
I love the softness of this photograph, the framing just bring my eye to the head turn on the Crane. Nice work.
